This city tour will include the dowtown area, MARGS (Modern Art Museum), Santander Cultural (hosting a Miró exposition), Nossa Senhora das Dores church, Metropolitan Cathedral, Beira Rio and Olímpico football stadiums, residencial area of the city.

Tour to Gramado and Canela
Date: September, 1st  2005 (Thursday, whole day)

Gramado and Canela are located 137Km far from Porto Alegre. We will leave Porto Alegre at 08:00 am towards Gramado and Canela. This area is greatly influencied by German and Italian cultures due to the imigration in the middle of the last century. We will visit the famous Stone Cathedral and the Caracol Park. We will have lunch at the best "Café Colonial" restaurant in this area, with regional food. During the afternoon we will visit the Lago Negro (Black Lake) and the dowtown area with enough time for shopping. Gramado is famous for its chocolate, leather, and clothes.
