Author Instructions for Camera-Ready Paper Submission

The following steps give you detailed instructions to prepare your camera-ready paper. Final paper submission consists of five critical steps:

1. Send your registration
2. Format the final version of the paper
3. Submit the final PDF version on the JEMS system
4. Complete the Copyright Form
5. Submit the Copyright Form on the JEMS system

Failure to comply with all the required elements will lead to the removal of the paper from the technical program and the conference record. Important notes:

1. If your paper is accepted as "Regular full paper" then the camera-ready version is limited to 8 pages IEEE 2-column style.
2. If your paper is accepted as "Short paper" then the camera-ready version should be reduced to 4 pages IEEE 2-column style.

Manuscripts will be scheduled for oral or poster presentation only if at least one of the authors pays the PROFESSIONAL registration fee by August 14, 2019. Please also note that LANOMS 2019 reserves the right to exclude a paper from IFIP Digital Library after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference. Also notice that the registration fees for authors are not refundable.

Step 1: Send your registration

For each accepted paper, at least one author must register at a PROFESSIONAL registration fee for the conference by August 14, 2019. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one conference professional registration is valid for up to two (2) papers. For other registration information, go to the Registration link.

Step 2: Format the final version of paper

Please read the reviews and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising your final paper. To guarantee good quality proceedings contents, your paper must comply with the LANOMS 2019 paper specifications. LaTeX and MS Word templates and Bibliography files can be obtained here.

In particular, this means:

• Paper length is limited to 8 double column pages for Full regular papers and 4 double column pages for Short (poster) papers.
• Use two-columns IEEE Conference Proceedings style in a 10-point-font, US letter page
• Latex users must follow the bare_conf.tex example included in the Latex template. You must also use the following command \documentclass[10pt,conference]{IEEEtran}. Moreover, use IEEEtran.bst included in the Bibliography file as reference style.

(Note: with IEEE conferences, the author affiliation is listed under the author's name, unlike IEEE transactions)

• PDF format only is accepted
Do NOT use page numbers, headers, or footers on your manuscript
Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file
Do NOT include hyperlinks in the document (e.g., clickable web site addresses in the references)

Insert an appropriate copyright notice on the first page (bottom left) as follows:

• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
• For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-3-903176-23-2 (c) 2019 Crown
• For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-3-903176-23-2 (c) 2019 IFIP
• Latex users can add either of the following green blocks just before \begin{document} for the copyright notice to show up (shown below as an example for the third case above):

\usepackage[pscoord]{eso-pic}
\newcommand{\placetextbox}[3]{
\setbox0=\hbox{#3}
\AddToShipoutPictureFG*{
\put(\LenToUnit{#1\paperwidth},\LenToUnit{#2\paperheight}){
\vtop{{\null}\makebox[0pt][c]{#3}}}
}
}
\placetextbox{.187}{0.075}{978-3-903176-23-2~\copyright~2019 IFIP}

- MSWord users can use: 'Insert' -> 'Text box', insert the appropriate copyright notice in the texbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left on the first page.

Print out a hard copy of the paper for final content review. Review very carefully the formatting requirements. In particular, check acknowledgments, equations, and author affiliations.

Step 3: Submit the PDF paper file on the JEMS system

To appear in the proceedings of the conference we must have the final version of your full camera-ready paper by August 14, 2019. Your camera-ready paper must be uploaded electronically through the JEMS system [https://jems.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=3293]. Please update the author names, the title, and the abstract of your paper on JEMS as well.

Step 4: Complete the IFIP Copyright Form

To complete the IFIP Copyright Form, you can fulfill the PDF file available here.

Step 5: Submit the IFIP Copyright Form

The signed IFIP Copyright Form must be uploaded trough JEMS system [https://jems.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=3293]
